Welcome to the Young Entrepreneurs Club
Young Entrepreneurs Club is a business support hub for 18–35-year-old entrepreneurs. Whether you just have an idea you might want to start a business, or you’ve been in business 10 years, everyone is welcome in our community.
We host monthly networking, social, dinner and wellbeing events for young business owners to connect, collaborate and if nothing else make some friends!
Unlike traditional business networks, YEC focuses on collaboration over competition, making entrepreneurship a less isolating experience.
Our mission is clear: to make entrepreneurship a less lonely and more accessible venture for young people. We want to become to go to hub for information, support, community and training for young entrepreneurs!

Business doesn’t have to be lonely:
We host monthly social networking events in Liverpool and Manchester bringing young people in business together to connect, collorate, share advice and make some buisness besties. Business can be lonely – but it doesn’t have to be!
We have incredible guest speakers sharing their expert knowledge on different business topics, such as personal branding, the art of public spekaing and perfecting your pitch.
We are not here to force you out of your comfort zones, but we are here to help you gain the confidence to venture outside of them!
Take time out for yourself. Entrepreneurs deserve a social life too:
Running your own business is exciting, but let’s be honest – when you’re self-employed, nobody throws you a Christmas party! Some of us miss the office chat, after-work drinks, and team socials to look forward to. That’s why we created the Socials & Dinner Club events – a space where we can relax, make friends, and actually enjoy the journey with people who get it.

We all know entrepreneurship isn’t taught in school, which means most of us are left figuring things out on our own. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Hey, I’m Katie Bowater 🙂 and I know first-hand how exciting
(and let’s be honest, sometimes overwhelming) the world of entrepreneurship can
be.
I started my first business at 18 during lockdown after a
sports injury forced me to rethink my future. Five years and multiple
businesses later, I’ve learned a lot about the challenges young entrepreneurs
face. I saw first-hand the isolation and self-doubt so many experience, which
is why I launched Young Entrepreneurs Club – to create a supportive community
where young people can connect, learn, and make friends.
Whether you’re just starting out or have been in business
for 10 years, having a group of like-minded people around you makes all the
difference. This club is all about real advice, real connections, and real
opportunities to help you build something amazing.
When I’m not working on YEC or my beauty business, you’ll
probably find me teaching financial education to students as the Co-Director of
Inspiring Minds Group CIC, testing out new hobbies (crochet class with Mum on a
Thursday is a personal fave!), or oversharing on TikTok.
But at the heart of everything I do is one simple mission: to
make entrepreneurship less lonely and more accessible venture for young people.
So, whether you’re here for the networking, the knowledge, or just to be around
people who ‘get it,’ welcome to the club – I’m so glad you’re here!
